“I need staff, but I can’t afford to be paying out standard recruitment fees!”

We’re hearing that more and more at the moment. And to be honest not surprisingly; recruitment fees can and have been expensive in the past.

The reason for this is because Recruiters - the good ones at least - work hard to find the right candidates for you. It’s not as simple as many people think of just picking the perfect made-to-measure candidate from a database. We work extremely hard to find exactly the right person for you.

But the thought of paying out recruitment fees at a time when most companies are concentrating on saving money can be daunting.

“So,  should you do your own recruitment then?”

You could, certainly. At least you wouldn’t have to pay those expensive recruitment fees if you do all the hard work yourself.

But what happens to your business and staff development time whilst you are sifting through CVS, telephone screening, arranging interviews, interviewing and referencing. And, bearing in mind that one of our clients recently had over 200 applications for a single position as a result of so many recent redundancies in Ireland, you could have a lot of applications! “Is Resourcing Management for me?”

Resourcing Management is geared towards companies who would not usually use a recruitment agency, those whose recruitment budgets have been cut or severely reduced as a result of the recession, and those companies who are not yet big enough to have their own Human Resources department.  “So how does Resourcing Management work?”

Effectively, Resourcing Management is a recruitment response management service which consists of several levels from which you can pick and choose depending on your requirements and budget.

Firstly, we discuss your vacancy in detail with you, to ensure we know exactly what you are looking for. You then advertise your vacancy as usual, but instead of then spending the next days or weeks dealing with the response, we take over for you.

  • Service 1 - CV Review

We can collect applicant’s CVs from your office, or you can email them to us. We will sort through them to find all those that match the job and person description.

  • Service 2 - Pre-Screening

We will contact those applicants whose CV’s match your specification, and pre-screen them over the telephone. After all, a CV can paint a totally different picture to how someone is in reality!

  • Service 3 - Interview Management

We will forward a shortlist of applicant’s for you to review. Let us know who you want to see and we will arrange the interviews at times to suit you.

  • Service 4 - Referencing

We will source references for suitable candidates from their previous employers (and will chase them up when they inevitably drag their heels!).
You can choose as many or as few of the services as you need as they will be charged individually.

Should you choose all the Services (at a discounted rate, of course!), all that’s then left for you to do is interview the applicant’s who have made it through to the final selection stage and choose who you want to offer the position to.

“How much will this cost me?”

Well in short a lot less than you think. Certainly a lot less than your time would cost I you took on the whole process yourself! And what’s more, you get to spend your time doing what you are good at - managing your business, developing your staff and making money. So you win on three counts!
